The Center for Vein Medicine has been Mid-Maryland’s ONLY vein center exclusively treating vein disease since 1991, serving Hagerstown Maryland, Frederick Maryland and the surrounding areas. The course of therapy is determined by detailed history, physical examination, color duplex scanning,audible doppler, plethysmograph,. These are all advanced, non-invasive procedures that are done right here in either our Hagerstown or Frederick, Maryland locations (the reason our patients have dubbed us “the one stop vein shop”). Treatments include:

Dr. Uchino is a member of the American College of Phlebology. He presented his research paper, “Incompetent Perforators of the Foot” at the International College of Phlebology in San Diego, California on August 29, 2003. He actively engages in education and research for vein disease,publishing and presenting scientific papers in this field.
